It was truly a dream come true what Kenzo Takada experienced, who passed away today, following complications from covid-19, at the age of 81. A young promise from Japan who wanted to discover France, the noble territory of Haute Couture, by embarking on a boat and traveling for several weeks. Thus he arrives in France, without speaking French but knows how to express himself with the language of colours. He will be able to combine Asian sweetness with the rigor of European cuts, joining designer Felipe Oliveira Baptista in the Azores. I want to remember this visionary genius, showing you the Autumn/Winter 2020 Collection.
I was particularly struck by the reversible coats ranging from monochrome to printed. They are wonderful!
